AMT Electronics: F1 preamp

www.amtelectronics.com “Can I help you?” “Yes. I’d like a pedal that can power two other pedals, sounds like a dead ringer for a Fender Twin, has a master volume, an effects loop, a external preamp loop and selectable speaker emulation. And it’s got to be in a small case.” “Er….” Exactly. How many pedals can meet that criteria? None that I know of. Except this one. The AMT Electronics F1 preamp. It’s a bloody little beauty! I’ve teamed it up with a hardwire Reverb and a Shredhead distortion to try and show just some of its potential. We’d be here all day if I had to show you everything. Check it out then. And if you think this is good, wait till you see the SS Series. Yikes. Cheers, Burg.

Yes. There is an attenuated switch that allows you to insert the F1 directly into the ‘return’ of your amp, thus eliminating the amp’s preamp and replacing it with the F1. You could go straight to your amp’s standard input as well but the results may be mixed as these pedals are specifically designed to be used as preamps or direct-to-board devices.
